Parking brake cable grease

Parking brake cable grease
Parking brake cables need special high-temperature grease that won't wash away or freeze. Without proper lubrication, these cables can seize up, especially in winter conditions, making the parking brake stick in the engaged position. Many drivers have experienced a mysteriously locked rear wheel, only to discover the parking brake cable had corroded and frozen. A simple annual greasing during brake service can prevent this common and frustrating problem.
